Investment Analyst Intern

What we're looking for

Bluevale Capital is looking for a driven Investment Analyst Intern who will join the team to support all business functions, including operations, project management, marketing, and research.

The incoming Business Analyst will be tasked with real estate and portfolio management projects, as well as research for expansion into the US and other international markets. The role requires exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

The work term can be either 4 months or 8 months.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time Intern
• Duration: 4, 8 or 12-month internship positions available, longer preferred. Please specify in your application.
• Student level: 2nd/3rd/4th year undergraduate students
• Place: Off-Campus
• Location: In-Person and Remote
• City / Prov: Toronto, ON
• Anticipated start date: Feb 2023
• Student compensation: We will cover that in the interview
  

Responsibilities

• Prepare pitch decks, such as client presentations, investment opportunity presentations
• Project management coordination on all real estate projects
• Assist marketing department and marketing material creation
• Asset and property management support
• Operations and on-site support
• Perform ad-hoc and miscellaneous tasks when needed
  

Qualifications

• Strong academic track record with extracurricular involvement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and good work ethic
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work
• Organized, detail-oriented can perform under pressure or tight deadlines
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Highly proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with analytics and visualization programs such as Power BI, R, Python, Tableau, or equivalent is an asset
• Experience with platforms such as WebFlow, Squarespace, WordPress, Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign or equivalent is an asset
• Driver’s license and access to the vehicle is an assets.
