Andrew Waslen

Andrew first joined LIFA in 2018 in his first year as a general member before joining the LIFA Analyst class of 2019 and 2020. Through the Analyst program Andrew was able to pursue his career aspirations with like-minded students and has since gone on to complete all three of his co-op terms in Private Equity. Since January 2022 Andrew has served as VP, Investments, and head of the Analyst program after completing two co-op terms at Altas Partners. While at Altas, Andrew conducted in-depth diligence and analysis on potential acquisition targets, including Altas's acquisition of Pye Barker from Leonard Green & Partners. After leaving Altas Andrew joined Greenhill & Co. as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the complex M&A and Restructuring group. Outside of LIFA Andrew was formerly Laurier's middle-weight boxer where he competed in the CAMH Fight the Stigma charity boxing match to raise awareness and funds for systemic mental health issues across Ontario.
