Sophia Zhu

Sophia is a Waterloo-based BMath/BBA double degree student. She has previously worked as a social media manager for Adelia Elle (skincare e-commerce) and as an AWW buildathon event lead. She is currently the Head of Content for Asian Wander Women and manages their merchandise shop. Through her multitude of experiences, she has built a strong foundation of knowledge that she applies to entrepreneurship. She =previously co-founded her start-up that helps Twitch streamers network through virtual gaming events, as well as her own tutoring company. Recently, she has also participated in Velocity’s Climate Change Hackathon. Within LIFA, Sophia will be assisting the current executive team with various portfolios. Beyond academics, Sophia is a causal F1 fan and often spends hours browsing niche documentaries on YouTube, as her interests range from art history, to cooking, to biographies.
