Franny Gao

Franny is a 1st-year student in the BMATH & BBA double degree program at the  University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University- interested in pursuing  a major in mathematical finance or actuarial science. Franny is in the Women in Finance (WIF) Analyst Program this year. She is from Vancouver, BC and was  previously the VP of the Math Club at Pinetree Secondary School, where she generated weekly lesson plans of math contest problems with various  approaches and hosted weekly meetings of 60+ people. In her free time, she  enjoys watching movies, spending time with her family, and taking care of cats.
